Patient HNZ has Diffuse Patterned Alopecia (DPA), a type of androgenetic alopecia that manifests as diffuse thinning in the front, top and crown, but with a stable permanent zone in the donor area. He has medium-fine, straight, dark brown hair with a donor density of 2.0 hairs/mm2. The patient had one surgical hair restoration session of 2,178 follicular unit grafts. His “after” photos were taken one year after his procedure. Note the light coverage due to the patient’s low density, but still a very natural look after one procedure.
